This blog was written last Thursday and I saved it in my documents because I couldn't sign in.
Donovan is still working some on his story: Darell, the Horse Who Knew True Love, but he has also done a lot of drawing and other things.
Dave and I are now thoroughly hooked on Nathan’s TV series he brought over the other night on DVD and all can do is hope to finish our teaching prep in time to snuggle in together to watch after the boys go to sleep. We feel a bit guilty, but we’re gluttonous too. This is the first time in a LONG time that NEITHER one of us is in a show so it’s wild to have us both home in the evenings.
Weston is still complaining about school every morning before he goes, but he does go.
The top picture is of some of us joining in with the Certs Irish dancing presentation. Cassia called it Caleigh dancing, but it sure looked a lot like the Virginia Reel to me!
This weekend (after we go to Calgary tomorrow so I can meet with my dramaturge) we’re going up to Alysa van Haastert’s to celebrate Thanksgiving. The boys have time off school and so do we. It should be fun. Dave’s eager to get out of town and all of us are up for adventure. Hopefully the weather will cooperate with traveling.
