Oh we had such a wonderful time at the beach. It was so warm and lovely. We stayed for hours. It was so clear and exciting with the extreme low and high tides at the end of May. Donovan and Weston were fearless. Anne DuMez got a crab and Emma went out floating. Of course we all sported sun burns and scrapes from barnacles. But it was thrilling.
I loved being near the water. It's good for me. The water's cold at first when you submerse yourself, but it's so refreshing and clear, and with water shoes, there's not fear of crabs or oyster cuts. I loved it. I longed to run out to the beach again every sunset, but I chose to stay near Anita and participate in her life as they are soon to move.
