Another morning walk and lots of thoughts. Yesterday I didn't blog. Yesterday I wasted time and I knew I was doing it, and I refused to stop. Today I am suffering with fatigue because of the lack of productive, healthy choices last night. Yesterday in the afternoon, however, there were some highlights. One being Weston! He saw all the golden leaves accumulating on our front yard, and couldn't wait for more to fall before he knew what time it was: time to rake the leaves into a pile and jump in them. Of course I thought I was going to have to do all the work, but no. He helped get out the tools from under the deck, and set to it! We raked and raked and soon had a pile for jumping. I got out the camera and started taking pictures from my back looking up through the trees. Weston kept leaning onto my knees and making funny faces in the frame. Then finally after Daddy helped a bit, we had some jumping time. Man I love this time of year. Even at dusk there is still a golden glow around our town. The light is bouncing off all the leaves and making magic light. Next week it will be more drab. Seize the day.
