We got away yesterday to Sylvan Lake with Stu and Kelsey Krogman and had a wonderful day on their sail boat "Joy full." It was beautiful and relaxing. We had good food, good company and good fun. The boys and I even jumped in for a bit! Afterwards we went to the Krogman acreage and had a wonderful meal with Corine as well. They have a beautiful home.
It was a long day, but it was great to do it and even though the boys were VERY tired when we got home late, it was fun to do something really summery before school starts TOMORROW for DJ. Sigh.
We labeled all his supplies today and are trying to adjust to the idea we will have to start getting up early again. (another sigh.)
The nights are noticeably darker earlier and a bit chilly. The bugs are out too.
I feel like sailing away again.
