The Golden Age

The sunset tonight was hot pink. Incredible. We climbed Hamm Hill as a family and then ran down. Thankfully the skeeters couldn't land because of the wind.
Dave's been turning the river water pump on and off this week so he got a couple shots by the river.
The other fuzzy ones are from our movie camera stills back at Horseshoe Canyon.
The boys are really cranky after a long day of school. (Dave and I are too, but we've learned to still pull our weight.) What's hard is getting the boys to help. The way they whine you'd think they're being tortured.
They're getting a final night bike ride right now in the peachy glow. Soon the sun will be setting right after dinner when we turn our clocks back.
I miss the trampoline.
I made chocolate puffed rice squares and proceeded to eat more than anyone. Of course we had to take away Weston's special treats privilege after his terrible outbursts before dinner. Poor guy.
The leaves are turning fast now. Donovan and I just stood under one today looking up at the BLUE BLUE sky. Somehow the sky looks bluer when the leaves get golder. It must be the same with age: the older you get, the more beautiful nature becomes.
