I wrote this brief blog yesterday...
Tomorrow's a big day for Faith and Art class as we start up again and everyone does self sermons. Should be great.
I'm resisting a sore throat and hope it goes away before choir tonight... not likely. My boys seem to get more willful after a big day at school and our edges are getting ruffled (mixed metaphor, I know, but I like it.)
Lately Dave has been transferring our old video camera tapes onto the computer and we can hardly tear ourselves away from baby Donovan right now. It really warms your heart to see his chubby cheeks and watch him sleep, eat, laugh and cry. Wow. So much footage and memories stirred. So special. Life is good for knowing Donovan and Weston. And David too.
Speaking of David, he shared in chapel today about U2. He tells me his heart was full. I wish I could have been there.
So, we're still struggling to be disciplined with this sort of extra free time, but we're managing to do some things we were always too busy to do. Our boys are testing boundaries and we're itching for life to be easier. Funny how quick we fall back into that, even after the special reminder of Donovan as a little cherub.
